Founded in 1998 by guitar hero Zakk Wylde, Black Label Society quickly rose to the top ranks of heavy metal bands. Infamous for their powerful performances and the strong guitar solos of Zakk Wylde, the band took a stripped-down path on “Unblackened,” predominantly using acoustic instruments, without losing any of their energy.
