Andrew and Mike Tierney, the driving force behind the multi-platinum, ARIA Hall Of Fame inducted Human Nature, have finally come full circle. ‘Soundtrack Of My Life,’ the debut album from the Tierney Brothers signifies a genuine momentum shift as the brothers take stock of their incredible 30+ year career and bring it all back to where it began. Two ambitious boys from Sydney’s western suburbs writing and singing songs in their bedroom with dreams of making it big.
Since signing to Sony Music over two decades ago, Human Nature have released 13 studio albums (4 of which went to #1 in Australia), 15 Top 20 singles and 5 Top 10 hits worldwide. With album sales in excess of 2.5 million in Australia alone, the group’s combined releases to date have been certified 26 x Platinum. In 2019, Human Nature celebrated 30 years as a band and were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame.
That same year, the group was also awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) and performed their 2000th show on the Las Vegas Strip. Now, as the Tierney Brothers, Andrew and Mike have the creative freedom to tap into the contemporary pop influences that have shaped their career. You’ll hear a bit of Jonas Brothers, a dash of Sam Smith and a good dose of One Republic but done with their twist. ‘Soundtrack Of My Life’ is Andrew and Mike, challenging themselves to new heights while celebrating all the things that have got them this far.
