After months of anticipation, ‘Scout,’ the debut EP from indie rock four piece Calpurnia, is finally announced, available on POD/Inertia!
Fronted by the enigmatic Finn Wolfhard, who has become well-known for his roles in Stranger Things and IT, Calpurnia exceed in crafting earnest garage pop that throttles the teenage spirit. Ever since the first videos surfaced of Calpurnia covering songs from Twin Peaks and Mac DeMarco, there has been a rampant excitement for the band, with fans holding their breath for the promise of original material.
Upon announcement of their debut single “City Boy” that vision was realised (and exceeded), with the track garnering millions of streams online, heaped with praise from everyone from Esquire to The FADER, and charting on the Billboard Alternative Chart.
