My Years With UFO (50th Anniversary Celebration)
For the first time, Michael Schenker is revisiting his classic years with UFO, a time from 1972 to 1978 when the band soared to fame with hits like “Doctor Doctor” and “Rock Bottom,” all written by Schenker.
Albums like “Phenomenon” and “Lights Out” are considered iconic in rock history, with “Strangers in the Night” being one of the most influential live recordings ever.
Now, in 2024, to celebrate the 50th anniversary, Schenker is re-recording 11 of these classic songs. He’s joined by Derek Sherinian, Brian Tichy, Barry Sparks, and an impressive lineup of guest stars including Axl Rose, Kai Hansen, Roger Glover, Slash, Erik Gr nwall, Joey Tempest, Biff Byford, Jeff Scott Soto, Dee Snider, and more, the new album promises to reignite the magic of those unforgettable years.
