Following a career on theatre stages and independent cinema sets, and in front of the greatest photographers’ cameras, Lou Doillon defined and refined her artistry further with her first LP album, ‘Places,’ which sold 300,000 worldwide.Â
Her new album ‘Lay Low’ was produced by Canadian band Timber Timbre bringing forth what she had in mind: a heavy blues-folk sound, cinematographic, deep and luminous at the same time.
Lou Doillon is the daughter of Jane Birkin, half-sister of Charlotte Gainsbourg.
