The Greatest Showman: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack – Sing-a-Long Edition is a deluxe repackaging of the album, which has undeniably been music’s runaway success story of the year so far. The album is presented as a hardback CD book, with a 32-page booklet containing all song lyrics from the film, as well as a bonus disc of sing-a-long tracks. The ‘sing-a-long’ disc features unique instrumental versions of the tracks, giving fans the chance to be the stars of their favourite The Greatest Showman songs for the very first time!
The Greatest Showman: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack has proven to be one of the biggest music phenomena the UK has ever seen. The soundtrack spent a staggering 11 weeks at #1 on The Official Charts, a run only matched in the last 30 years by Adele’s 21. In total, the album has spent 21 weeks at the top of the OCC charts so far this year, more than any other album in modern history. The record is now certified 3x Platinum, having amassed over 1 million sales to date.
The soundtrack includes the platinum-certified smash, “This Is Me”, performed by Keala Settle and The Greatest Showman Ensemble. Named “Best Original Song” at the 75th Golden Globe Awards and nominated for “Best Original Song” at The Oscars, the track was a huge hit in the UK peaking at #3 on the OCC. ‘This Is Me’ still finds itself in the UK top 40, having spent 33 weeks in the chart. The track shared similar success the world over, reaching the top 10 in the US, Australia, Malaysia, and South Korea; and the top 20 in Ireland, Belgium, and New Zealand.
