Formed in 1975 by uni-student friends John Schumann (vocals/guitar), Michael Atkinson (guitar/vocals)& Verity Truman (flute/vocals), they went on to record ground breaking albums “If You Don’t Fight You Lose”, “Virgin Ground”, “Brown Rice & Kerosine”, “Cut To The Quick EP”, “Frontline” & “Midnight Sun” all of which are represented on the Essential Redgum. Many of the tracks in this collection have been unavailable on CD for almost twenty years.
