Encores
To follow a monumental project – his acclaimed new recording of the Beethoven Piano Sonatas – Daniel Barenboim has chosen an intimate, personal album of his favourite keyboard encores, recorded at Berlin’s Pierre Boulez Saal. The great multi-faceted musician lavishes his artistry on such gems as Debussy’s Clair de lune, Schumann’s Träumerei and an array of other masterpieces by Chopin, Schubert, Liszt and Albéniz.
