When preparing for the release of debut album ‘Crashing Into the Sun’ Pete Kilroy and Bill Bingley stepped back from their band’s creation in an attempt to decipher its themes — basically, to try to figure out what it was all about. They found songs about boredom and songs about loneliness. There were songs about dying young, dying in plane crashes, dying in nightclub fires, or just plain dying.
