Anak Ko is the highly anticipated new album from dream pop artist Jay Som, available August 23rd on POD/Inertia.
Recording as Jay Som since 2015, Melina Duterte’s world of shy, swirling intimacies always contain a disarming ease, a sky-bent sparkle and a grounding indie-rock humility. Following the release of 2017 breakout album Everybody Works, Duterte’s life became a whirlwind, taking her from writing songs in her bedroom to topping Best of the Year lists on Pitchfork, Paste, and NPR, playing festivals around the world, and sharing stages with the likes of Paramore, Death Cab for Cutie, and Mitski.
