This full colour, ultra-bright LIFX – pronounced Life X – comes with infrared light that let’s you check in on your baby – or fur-baby – and look out for burglars. See through glass, see further and see clearer on video… but not to the naked eye. In fact, don’t forget when it’s not “off” keeping guard, it doubles as a normal smart light: schedules, scenes, whites, colours, and all the major voice assistants, and a killer app.

Infrared light – bring new vision to your security camera or babycam
Once you turn the light off, you can turn on the infrared. What is pitch black to the naked eye will be lit up like never before on your security camera’s video. Many cameras already claim to have night vision to some extent, but this will extend that and allows you to see through windows and glass doors for added peace of mind.

LIFX uses RGBW LEDs. It’s this hardware, and the technology behind it that allows billions of whites and colours (not just millions), from very subtle pastels for everyday settings, to rich saturated fun vibes when it’s time to play. Go, paint with light.

LIFX have deep partnerships with all the major voice platforms – that’s why you can use Google Assistant, Alexa, and Siri to control your lights. But unlike many, LIFX lights are also Apple HomeKit compatible, so if you are using the HomeKit platform, you can enjoy the control you’re familiar with. Plus LIFX works with Samsung SmartThings and IFTTT if you’d like to try more automation.
