This 4 part series profiles the game-changing Western Australian Nyoongar Aussie Rules champions and their impact on the AFL. Using first hand interviews with players and their families, it tells the story of how, following the colonisation of their traditional homelands in South Western Australia, and suffering terrible hardship from colonial rule, the Nyoongar people mastered Australian Rules football and used it as a way to build respect, pride and employment for their people.
