Teenage Love (2013 Reissue)
Ten years after they last recorded together, Cold Chisel and manager Rod Willis uncovered these old masters gathering dust in a recording studio basement and decided to release the tracks as an archival collection entitled ‘Teenage Love’.
The contents were stunning – brimming with youthful verve and a spontaneity which had faded from memory in the wash of greatest hits packages.
The many lo-fi highlights include “Metho Blues”, “Mona & the Preacher”, “Drinkin’ in Port Lincoln”, “Suicide Sal”, “A Little Bit of Daylight” and “The Party Is Over”.
