The Singles Collection 1975-1983 (Reissue)
Originally known as the voice and face of Mott The Hoople, Hunter split in 1975 and started a solo career.
From 1975’s ‘Once Bitten Twice Shy’(a UK No.14 hit) right through until late ‘83’s ‘Somethin’s Goin’ On’, this 29 track release has all of Ian’s 45s including many versions that were specially edited from LP length.
The sadly missed Mick Ronson plays on many of the tracks and other contributions come from the likes of Queen, members of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band including Clarence Clemons, John Cale of The Velvet Underground and The Clash’s Mick Jones.
