Godflesh (Reissue) (Import)
Released back in 1988, Godfleshs self-titled EP is still one of the most powerful and dark recordings the duo ever caught on tape.
The slow, pummeling grind of Avalanche Master Song is as iconic as the records immediately recognisable monochrome cover, laying down the blueprint for their seminal Streetcleaner album, whilst tracks like the driving Veins prove that guitarist/vocalist Justin Broadricks unique melodic sensibility was in full effect right from day one.
